Our Equipment

While our pilots and technicians are our most valuable asset, we want to give them the best tools for each job. As such, we have a fleet of drones, cameras, sensors, and software.  This isn’t meant to be an exhaustive list of everything we’re using. We simply want to give an idea of the types of tools we’re using. Since this is a young industry, we get requests for new uses all the time. Sometimes letting you know what helps your creativity. We’re always upgrading and adding tools, so this list may not always be 100% up to date.

The Matrice is our pack mule. It can carry 2 cameras at once. It also allows for a top mount camera which makes it our go-to for bridge inspection. The RTK unit allows it to operate more safely in areas with electrical or magnetic interference.

Because it is so stable in windy conditions, we use the Inspire for video and photo work.  They’re also useful for some mapping projects.

Our two Mavics make quick work of our general inspection work. Their smaller frame makes them a safer choice for tighter areas.

Using a 24-48 mm optical zoom camera, the Mavic Zoom gives us the added benefit of distance. We use it when even the smaller UAVs can’t get close enough. Its optical zoom produces incredible detail even from a distance.

The Phantoms are our inspection and mapping drones. They use a mechanical shutter which delivers more accurate results. This is especially helpful on mapping projects, where complete accuracy is a must.

The RTK allows it to work in magnetic fields and high voltage areas without interference. It also has a centimeter-level position system for absolute precision.

The X4S is our go-to for mapping. It has a mechanical shutter and full 1″ sensor size, which improves detail and exactness.

The 30x optical zoom gives crystal clear detail from a distance. It’s beneficial when we can’t get close because of obstructions or flyover restrictions. It also makes a great effect for creative projects.

We XT-2 couples a thermal imager and a visual camera. It’s helpful for inspecting electrical components and looking for water on roofs. It’s also employed for finding water leaks and for search and rescue.
